Description

Product Description:

Rock wool is a type of thermal and acoustic insulation that has long been recognized as an effective sound insulator. The fibers of rock wool help absorb and reduce sound energy, making this insulation effective in lowering sound levels and providing acoustic insulation. Since this insulation is an open-cell type, it is best to use it in combination with closed-cell insulations (such as polyethylene foam, elastomeric foam, or styrofoam) during the insulation process to achieve greater efficiency. In addition, rock wool can also be used in the construction of some handmade acoustic panels. One of the positive features of this panel is its higher fire resistance.
