Tatami

Tatami is a type of flooring made from EVA foam. This flooring is typically produced in a puzzle format, allowing its pieces to fit together easily for straightforward installation. Due to the softness and durability of this foam, it is commonly used as a shock absorber in gyms, children’s play areas, and similar settings.

Additionally, because of its structure categorized as a closed-cell insulator, tatami can also be used as flooring in studios and music practice rooms or anywhere that requires floor insulation. If using tatami as a floor insulator, it is recommended to combine it with long-pile carpets to enhance its effectiveness.
